About Lynn Davis

The Writer’s Manifest is my own little place to come and write about writing. It’s very meta. It is where I can share tips about writing and thoughts about what I am writing about. It is one part imparting knowledge one part mental cleansing.

As for myself, I am Lynn Davis. I am a professional ghostwriter, a freelance writer, and a media critic. I am also a novelist with two books under my belt: The Shulim Cycle Book of Dahlia & The Shulim Cycle Book of Susan.

In addition to my freelance and novels, I have written for Polymancer Magazine, an article titled “I Was Thinking of Making My Character…Evil”. I have a published e-novella Harbin & Klai (also intended to be the first of many, but I want to devote my writing time to BoD primarily). Prior to getting married, I wrote for White Wolf Games’ Mage: The Ascension revised. I worked on Guide to the Traditions (fiction inserts), Cult of Ecstasy, Bitter Road, and Initiates of the Arts.

I have been writing stories since I was about twelve years old. In 2008, I completed my English Degree in Creative Writing. My theory and philosophy of writing is formed by my experience, by my education, and by other things that I have studied and learned and applied to writing.

I look forward to your upcoming novel! “The Book of Dahlia”
How long have you been working on the novel and around when do you think it will be released?
